today was my first brownie girl scouts meeting! i think it went well! we did the aforementioned leaf/animal activity (we are going for the plant badge!) and some name/getting to know you games. it was such fun and the girls are amazing. i have about 6 first and second graders from roosevelt elementary school. it's so fun to hang out with a group of girls outside of the classroom-- where it is ok to be silly and loud and you don't have to sit criss cross applesauce if you don't want to. i am so glad to be a part of girl scouts of western washington and lead a troop, we are surely going to do many fun crafty/ nature loving activities this year! and of course, sell a ton of cookies.
