I live by an old folks home and they have a marquee out in front that says, "Thanksgiving is an active word, after all." Something like that. Nice sentiment anyhow, especially if you're trying to get people to spend time with old folks!

what a tricky sign! now i feel obliged to give thanks at the old folks home! i hope they get a bountiful feast this thursday!
